Welcome to the Hatty Hats Embroidery affiliate programme!
The following terms and conditions apply to individuals who are accessing or using the program both as a merchant (“we” or “merchant” or "Hatty Hats Embroidery LTD") and as an affiliate (“you” or “affiliate”) who refers customers to use a product or service from the merchant.
By participating in the program, the affiliate agrees to use the program in the manner specified in and is bound by, these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in their entirety you are not authorised to register as an Affiliate or participate in the Program in any manner.
1. Approve or Reject the Registration
We reserve the right to approve or reject ANY Affiliate Program Registration at our sole and absolute discretion. You will have no legal recourse against us for the rejection of your Affiliate Program Registration.
2. Affiliate Links and Coupons
The affiliate link is automatically generated, but you can also generate an affiliate link for a specific product or collection if we have pre-authorised this ability. If a person clicks on someone else’s referral link and then later they click on yours, yours or the last clicked link is the one that counts.
An affiliate might or might not be assigned to one or more coupon code(s) with details and usage clarified on the Dashboard. If a customer both clicks on an affiliate link and uses an affiliate coupon code, the affiliate will not receive a double commission payment.
The affiliate may advertise the merchant's website and their affiliate coupon by any non-offensive means; including but not limited to online paid and organic advertisements, social media platform activation, website activation, and TV streaming activation. Or by offline promotions including classified channel ads, magazines, newspapers and print. We permit the affiliate to be creative with their promotion, with the above in place as a guideline providing affiliate advertisement(s) creativity does not operate against our guidelines and must be represented in a way that is in line with our brand guidelines. Affiliate advertisements MUST be non-offence.
Hatty Hats Embroidery LTD reserve the right to cancel or terminate and pre-agreement with any affiliate at any time for any reason should we believe any of our brand guidelines have been breached.
3. Commissions and payment
By referring a customer who makes a purchase on our website, you will receive a commission amount which is calculated based on the commission structure assigned to you. The total payable commission amount is calculated on the total sale price minus the shipping cost and the local tax amount associated with that transaction.
For an Affiliate to receive a commission payment, the Affiliate will need to specify their payment type within their dashboard Settings. The payment schedule will be notified on the Affiliate Guide page.
Payments will only be sent for transactions that have been successfully completed. Use of the Affiliate Program is subject to a fair use policy which gives the merchant the right to review each and every referral order. The status of commission is displayed in the Commission tab, with any paid commission(s) listed on the Payment tab. Transactions that result in charge backs, returns, credits or refunds will not be paid out to the affiliate.
4. Marketing tool
We may share promotional media such as banners, logos, images, videos and text collateral to affiliates through the Marketing tool tab. Affiliates can download this media or get the HTML embed code in order to share on chosen affiliate channels (social media, websites etc...).
Hatty Hats Embroidery LTD owns the rights to all marketing collateral provided by the merchant. Hatty Hats Embroidery LTD withholds the right to request any provided media to an affiliate to be removed and/or destroyed from any affiliate marketing stream, at any time for any reason.
5. Network
If the Network tab is activated, the affiliate can invite others to become their downline affiliate(s). If any downline affiliate brings an order to the merchant's store, the upline affiliate will also get a pre-agreed network commission which is subject to the pre-agreed merchant commission amount settings.
To invite another downline affiliate into the Hatty Hats Embroidery affiliate programme, the network link must be shared and any other affiliate who clicks on that link and signs up will become a downline affiliate subject to a merchant review of that downline affiliate.
The merchant withholds the right to cancel or amend any downline affiliate application at any time for any reason.
The affiliate is responsible for any downline application and is required to ensure any downline affiliate abides by the merchant's brand and affiliate programme guidelines. The merchant withholds the right to cancel both the affiliate and the downline affiliate account should the downline affiliate breach any of the merchants brand guidelines, at any time for any reason.
6. Cookie
We use cookies to track people / customers / clients who have clicked on your link, so they need to be using cookies for us to track their transactions.
If a person doesn't allow cookies or clears their cookies then we can't track them and therefore can't pay earnings on that person's activity.
The saved cookie day amount is outlined within the Affiliate programme. The tracking day will start from the time a customer clicks on the affiliate’s link or uses an affiliate's coupon. Within the cookie time, every order made by this customer on the merchant's website will automatically result in commissions for the referring affiliate. There’s no need for the customer to re-click on the affiliate link again as the referral cookie is solely assigned to that customer for the referring affiliate for the set cookie day amount outlined within the enrolled affiliate programme. Unless, that customer clicks on an alternative affiliate link, in this situation, it's the last clicked affiliate link that receives the commission.
7. Removal from Referral Program
If an affiliate wishes to be removed from the affiliate program, they can do so by contacting: support@hattyhats.com.
